This project involved demolition of exterior façade while maintaining public safety and public access to the Avis facility. Protective measures were in place for access to the public walkway as well as traffic control on this busy downtown San Francisco thoroughfare.

We completed an entire seismic retrofit of the 30,000 square foot test building after high winds had torn apart the roof-top spheres. It was necessary to maintain a positive pressure at all times during construction so the spheres could remain intact.

This project included the complete renovation of eight Officers Quarters at the Naval Postgraduate School, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and bedrooms.

The interior renovation at Menlo Park’s Allstate Research & Planning Center included a retrofit for a newly upgraded elevator. The conference room renovation included ceiling, flooring, wall covering and lighting upgrades as well as floor monuments for phone and data/cabling access.

This two-story fast-track renovation was completed in a 6-week scheduled timeframe. Work was performed around the warehouse, which remained in operation during construction.
In addition to the installation of a new HVAC system, the lunchroom, bathrooms, conference room and office areas were all remodeled.

Clean Room

Richmond, CA

This class-100 clean room at Richmond’s Bio Rad Laboratories is used to manufacture pharmaceutical products.
In addition to the clean room, a support area, break rooms, a light manufacturing area and several offices were included in this upgrade.

Historic/Seismic Installation
NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
San Francisco, CA

The installation of the Farallon Islands Fresnel Lighthouse Lens included the reassembly of the lens, fabrication of the pedestal and chimney as well as the bull gear and motor for rotation. We also installed the 6,000 pound ship’s propeller. Painstaking precision was needed as both historical pieces required bolting and grouting for seismic stability. They are on display at San Francisco’s new National Park Service Visitor’s Center.
